KENNETH MCLACHLAN

Hi! My name is Kenny Mclachlan, a video game programmer, enthusiast, and advocate.

I use the terms enthusiast and advocate because I strongly believe that video games offer more than just entertainment. They can enhance hand-eye coordination, serve therapeutic purposes, and contribute to shaping a person's mindset in achieving their goals, among other things. This belief is what led me to pursue a career as a video game programmer.

Game programming, in my view, is the heart and lifeblood of a video game. While my previous skills in videography and graphic design are valuable elements in game development, they also provide me with a broader understanding of the entire game development process. This broader perspective, paired with my specialization in video game software engineering, equips me to contribute significantly to the field.

My goal is to leverage my passions to make a positive impact on the world. I understand that the world isn't perfect, and I don't claim to have the power to transform it into a utopia. However, together as game developers, we have the ability to create worlds and deliver amazing experiences that can resonate with everyone.
